Blog 8: "Life is fair in Arts"

A new era for the future emerged after the Modern Art, yet it is just a continuation it. Resemblance can be seen, but there are events and styles that marked the beginning of the 20th Century. And here are some of them that i do love to share:

Math is FUN and Arts is FUN. But it is more FUN if we join these two forces together. So what do you think? But did you know that in 1907 Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque, modern artists, soldered this together wherein he used the properties of space, shapes and sizes. It is the use of Geometrical figures or Cubism as what they call it. The three dimensional looking lead a new way to be fond of the observers. It was very popular because it was something new to the crowd's eyes. He nearly reached the style of abstraction-ism and this marked the beginning of it. Their motive is not to 100% distort an image or an object but to give it a new look that pleases the eye.

Metaphysical painting made artists provide the world of art to represent the dreamlike imagery of figures and objects that are frozen-like with time. With this kind of activity their learned how to see things in a new way. They arrange human beings (the figural representation of it) to look-like dummy models but in an unusual form. It is the combined style for Cubism and Futurism. While the forerunner of this is Surrealism, wherein artists would express also a dream-like state but with an unconscious mind.

And last is the Dadaism, that made the world of art so much controversy. It is very controversial because of its anti-art movement yet they represent what they wanted to say also with the use of arts.
It became the basis of Surrealism afterwards.

Every artists here in this era are more of evolving new desires and passion for their pieces. They were all heard whether they are pro or anti art. And that's what makes the 20th century art say that "Life is fair in ARTS."
